Application and features:
Basic Violet 10 is a light green glitter small crystalline powder, soluble in water and ethanol, soluble in cellosolve, slightly soluble in acetone. Mainly used in the paper industry, such as waxed paper, writing paper, glazed paper, etc.
Reacted with phosphotungstic acid to form a precipitating agent that was used in the production of paints and varnishes; it could also be used to dye linen, straw and leather goods.
