Heating and cooling sets for the cylinder

Heating-cooling kits are typically mounted on extruder cylinders. In the first phase the cylinder is heated by electric heaters. Once the operating temperature has been reached, the regulator switches off the heating system and only the heat produced during the production process is sufficient to maintain the temperature. If the working temperature is exceeded, radial fans are activated to cool the whole set. This solution provides optimum control over the entire length of the plasticizing system of the extruder or injection molding machine. Heating-cooling combinations are also used in other industries where temperature control of cylindrical surfaces is required.
