Four Boy injection moulding machines are going to impress visitors at the Plastpol Plastics Fair in Kielce / Poland from 28th to 31st May. Boy, the German specialist for injection moulding machines in the clamping force range up to 1250 kN presents an interesting part of its product range. In addition to the Boy XXS with 63 kN clamping force and the Boy 35 E (350 kN), a fully automated Boy 60 E with integrated removal handling LR 5 is also presented. This trade show will be complemented by auxiliary Boy injection units (available from Boy in sizes XS, S, M and L), which transform a conventional injection moulding machine into a two- or multi-component machine.
At the booth of its Polish representative 1.Plastcompany Polska Sp. z.o.o.in Hall C / booth 31, a fully automated production cell will produce shapely and practical two-component wine spouts. In combination with the additional injection unit Boy 2C S, the compact injection moulding machine Boy 60 E produces the transparent part of the spout made of NAS, then the Boy 2C S overmoulds the bottle spout with two sealing lips made of TPE. The finished part is then removed from the mould with the removal handling Boy LR 5 and placed on a conveyor belt. The compact production cell is enclosed in a protective fence and thus consistently implements the required safety guidelines.
The four-tie bar Boy 35 E with a clamping force of 350 kN, will demonstrate its suitability for the production of technical parts in tight tolerance ranges. With a footprint of just 1.94 m², the Boy 35 E “scores” especially with its energy-efficient servo drive. A universal injection unit with screw diameters of 14, 18 and 22 mm offers the option of a fast injection or an injection with standard speed and high specific injection pressure. A precise production of thin-walled parts with long flow paths is often only possible with the differential injection technology of the universal injection units. Larger screw diameters (24, 28 and 32 mm) guarantee the precise manufacturing of injection moulded parts with weights of up to 69.5 g (PS).
With its Polish representative 1.Plastcompany, the medium-sized manufacturer based in Neustadt-Fernthal is highly satisfied. "We have been able to initiate and implement a large number of projects together in short term" is the conclusion of Wolfgang Schmidt, Export Manager at Boy and he adds: "We see great potential in the Polish plastics market and illustrate this with our impressive presence at Plastpol. We look forward to interesting discussions with the Polish users and we always have available the suitable solution for their requirements."
