Polimer Teknik, the manufacturer of co-rotating twin screw extruders, has launched its extruder line to meet the high capacity needs of the compounding industry.
Polimer Teknik, which was established in 2007 in order to manufacture co-rotating twin screw extruders and equipment when there wasn’t any manufacturer on this field in Turkey, continues to offer innovations to the compound and masterbatch industry under the poex brand. poex T110 co-rotating twin screw extruder, which responds to the increasing capacity needs in the compound industry in parallel with the growth of local and global plastics markets, also promises to reduce unit production costs with its high capacity.
With the 108mm screw diameter, poex T110 co-rotating twin screw extruder which was exhibited at Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2022, has high efficient & water-cooled Elin motor (570 kW), Mayr torque limiter and Zambello gearbox with high output torque. In addition, the extruder line, supported by Brabender gravimetric feeders and Maag underwater pelletizer system, appeals to the high-filled compound market with its mineral filling capacity up to 83% and production capacity of 2500kg/h.
Not limited to these, Polimer Teknik, which also contributes to the installation of turnkey production lines to its customers, aims to offer solutions to companies' digitalization and industry 4.0 demands. With its innovative maintenance monitor, fully automatic lubrication system and user-friendly industrial software coupled to the poex T110 line, it offers its users both predictive maintenance and minimum production loss.
The company's recent innovative products include the poex T16 Scientific model with 16 mm screw diameter to support scientific studies, and the poex T50 food extruder line, which is able to produce food from plant-based proteins equivalent to animal meat. In addition, with its years of experience, Polimer Teknik continues to support its customers in technical matters such as screw design and configuration suitable for the material process to be worked on.
