The Aetna Group exhibited at interpack 2008 in Düsseldorf in Germany a number of exciting new additions to their range of innovative end of line packaging machinery.
Robopac, the market leaders in the technology of stretch film wrapping exhibited a series of semi automatic ROTOPLAT turntable wrappers. They also demonstrated the new agile and compact WORKER Robot, which has been designed for use within diverse industrial environments. Other innovations from ROBOPAC include a horizontal stretch wrapping line, featuring a new film cutting solution.
Aetna Group member, Robopac Sistemi showed high production capacity machines for wrapping pallets. Two different cold-packaging technologies with stretch film have been mounted on a single line; the HELIX HS40/2 double rotating arm winder has been wrapped two half pallets separately, which are then wrapped together by a new ROBOHOOD F hooding machine.
Sistemi also introduced the new Genesis Futura 8 ring pallet wrapper, which stabilizes delicate loads without damaging them.
Dimac launched the new easy to operate and robust single roll shrink wrapper, featuring a "LASER" sealing bar. This is of particular interest for those who require a medium/low rate machine capable of producing up to 25 packages per minute. A small footprint and very few change parts. It is much more effective than a reciprocal beam wrapper.
This wide range of "end of line" packaging equipment further enhances the Aetna Group` reputation for providing innovative, robust and value for money machinery. Few other companies offer such a variety of quality products, and over 25 years experience together with a well-established world-wide sales and service organization, makes them a serious consideration for every installation.
