Avient Corporation will showcase its range of sustainable screen printing inks at the Textile Printing & Sustainability Conference (TPS). The event covers topics such as the circular economy, bio-based dyes and fibers, and digital technology in the textile industry.
What we're exhibiting:
Bio Plastisol Inks: Bio Plastisol screen printing inks are created with bio-renewable materials, such as plants, corn, and algae, yet can perform with the same excellent on-press performance as standard plastisol inks. Avient Specialty Inks offers easy-to-print Bio Plastisol inks created with 50–59% bio-derived content.
Flexible Cure Inks: Low cure, or flexible cure, screen printing inks that can reduce energy consumption while minimizing dye migration and preventing shrinkage of heat-sensitive fabrics. These inks can cure as low as 250°F (121°C), as opposed to the 320°F (160°C) cure temperature of standard inks.
Eco-conscious Inks: Avient Specialty Inks offers water-based, silicone, and non-PVC inks as alternatives to traditional materials and processes, avoiding use of lead, BPA, phthalates, cured thermoset rubbers, and chemical or solvent-based processes.
