Bianor, a Dutch-owned maker of plastic parts and products, will expand capacity and add new jobs at its plant in Bialystok in 2010 thanks to an increase in new orders.
For example, the company won a contract to make parts for Philips’ coffee machines, beating rival companies from the Far East (as well as Poland) due to a competitive price to quality ratio. This has already resulted in the launch of a new assembly line. But in 2010 Bianor aims to expand further, with plans to increase output by more than 10% and employment by 10-15%, from 320 at the moment.
Bianor supplies e.g. to white goods and electronics makers such as Philips, BSH or Makita.
