With immediate effect Biesterfeld Spezialchemie sells CoreLite core materials in Germany, the United Kingdom and the Baltic States. With balsa wood, PET and PVC foams as well as PVC board from this global manufacturer, Biesterfeld is now able to offer the very latest developments in the core materials used in the wind power, marine, automotive, transport and aviation industries.
Biesterfeld's product portfolio now includes Balsasud Core, CoreLite PET, CoreLite PVC foams as well as CoreLite Board. CoreLite PVC foams are closed-cell foams that are ideal for use in lightweight constructions, not only due to their exceptional compression and shear strength, but also because of their excellent moisture-resistance. They can be used with other elements to create sandwich structures with outstanding static and dynamic loading capacity. The material is primarily used in the marine and automotive sectors, and in the wind power industry, for example in rotor blades.
Biesterfeld Spezialchemie now also offers Balsasud Core: the finest balsa wood core material on the market. This is a naturally fire resistant material which has excellent fatigue resistance. Balsasud Core is not only very robust, but also has exceptional compression and shear strength. In the marine industry, this product can be used with equal success in a ship's hull, its interior or on deck.
