The Group holds an extensive patent portfolio of around 12,300 patents in total, including granted patents and pending patent applications.
In recent years the majority of patent application filings has been in the following areas:

- Production processes ( process)
- Consumer products for flexible and rigid packaging
- Circular economy solutions ( technology)
