Chinaplas will accomplish another achievement when back to Guangzhou in May 2013

Chinaplas will accomplish… Chinaplas 2013, the 27th International Exhibition on Plastics & Rubber Industries, will be held at China Import & Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, PR China with an unprecedented scale.

Since its establishment in 1983, Chinaplas has been held successfully for 26 editions and is now the No. 1 plastics and rubber trade fair in Asia and the 2nd largest in the world. In addition, Chinaplas is an unparalleled event for corporate image building and product promotion and it provides the best channel to penetrate into China as well as the Asian markets.

Chinaplas 2012 held in Shanghai last April was another success and has attracted a total of 2,729 exhibitors from 36 countries and regions. This included 13 country/region pavilions organized by Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK and USA. In Chinaplas 2012, over 100 groups of key buyers, corporations and trade associations, representing different application sectors including automotive, building and construction, E&E, IT and telecommunications, food and beverage, packaging, medical, daily chemicals, etc., visited the show. The strong attendance of renowned enterprises, such as Foxconn Technology Group, LOREAL, MicroPort Medical, Rexam Plastic Metallizing Technologies and United Automotive Electronic Systems, etc. has fully demonstrated the leading role of Chinaplas as an effective trading platform for the plastics and rubber industry.

Chinaplas 2013 will return to China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou on 20-23 May, 2013. The show is expected to hit the new record of 220,000sqm exhibition area and will occupy all of the 26 exhibition halls in zone A and zone B of the venue.

According to the 12th Five-year Plan, China's plastics manufacturing industry will enter a new era. In order to better adapt to the needs of China's economic development, plastics will be applied in more fields, such as new energy, IT industry, bio-industry and so on. With the aim of enhancing regional distribution, the plastics manufacturing industry in South China and East China will invest more in brand building and high-end manufacturing.

China is now the second largest producer of plastic products in the world.
