The German company Maximator GmbH and the British Cinpres Gas Injection Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement in which Cinpres grants Maximator the licensing rights for Europe. In future, Maximator will be able to sublicense all of Cinpres’ technology.
But cooperation goes even one step further. In order to provide customers with advantages in the licensing as well as product business, Maximator and Cinpres have developed a joint product portfolio that is unique in the gas and water injection technology sector. Maximator focuses on compressor stations, air-driven gas boosters, hydraulic-driven compressors, water assist systems, proportioning and dosing systems, nozzles and injectors, while Cinpres concentrates on gas controllers, generators, electric compressors and liquid cool systems.
Maximator and Cinpres are leading companies in the gas and water injection technology sector. The two companies first started discussing their cooperation when Cinpres Ltd. won a year-long patent case against its competitor Melea (now insolvent), securing the exclusive global rights for a number of pioneering injection technologies.
“This cooperation provides our customers with access to Cinpres’ excellent technological solutions. But this alliance also gives us the opportunity to combine our expertise and quality standards in high-pressure technology with Cinpres’ technical gas injection know-how. This will enable us to offer our customers an improved and comprehensive product and service portfolio.” said Henning Willig, Managing Director of Maximator GmbH. He added: “In addition, investments in our company will offer a unique level of security, as the patent situation has been finally clarified.”
“Maximator maintains excellent customer relations in Germany and abroad. We hope that this cooperation will strengthen our international service business. With our technologies, Maximator will be able to offer technological solutions for almost every situation, helping customers to reduce their costs, improve their quality and consequently increase the profit of their operations,” explained Jon Butler, Managing Director of Cinpres Gas Injection Ltd.
