Coperion can boast a wealth of experience in the fields of bulk materials handling and compounding for the plastics industry. Over 8,000 materials handling references and around 10,000 existing Coperion compounding systems of all sizes are the solid basis of this experience.
To a greater extent than ever before, Coperion is now pooling its competencies and offering complete turnkey installations in keeping with the motto: “Everything from a single source”. With the additional synergies that benefit the buyer of a complete turnkey installation, namely the fact that planning, execution and all essential components come from one and the same source, Coperion has attained an undisputed market leadership worldwide.
A complete turnkey installation basically comprises what Coperion offers within its scope of delivery and service, while the customer himself may extend the installation as he wishes, e.g. with steel supporting structures, buildings, energy supply etc. Coperion has adapted its organization to its strategic aims and can respond to customers’ enquiries quickly and competently.
Coperion plans to extend its service network by an additional site in the Middle East. Coperion Middle East, a joint venture between Coperion and the Saudi-Arabian company Golden Wing, is to be formed in the very near future.
Numerous Coperion customers in this important core market will then benefit from an optimized service with faster response times and shorter distances. Besides the supply of replacement parts and the servicing and upgrading of compounding lines, Coperion Middle East will in future be able to offer the skills of its own personnel for the on-the-spot planning and execution of larger-scale repair, maintenance and overhaul of large-capacity extruders and compounding lines. For the sake of even greater efficiency, Coperion Middle East will also be taking over important functions in project execution in this region.
