Evosys Laser honoured with TOP 100 Award

Evosys Laser honoured with…

Evosys Laser GmbH from Erlangen has once again come out on top in the TOP 100 innovation competition and now bears the TOP 100 seal 2025. The award is only given to particularly innovative medium-d companies that clearly stand out from the competition in the five evaluation categories

The award is based on a scientific selection process led by innovation researcher Prof Dr Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. On behalf of compamedia GmbH, he and his team analysed the innovative strength of the participants on the basis of more than 100 test criteria, which were divided into five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation and innovation success. At its core, the TOP 100 analysis is about whether innovations are the result of structured innovation management in the companies - in other words, whether they arise by chance or whether the future is actively shaped.

Evosys also impressed in this year's innovation competition and is now one of Germany's top innovators for the fourth time. The Erlangen-based company develops and manufactures state-of-the-art systems for laser material processing of plastics. These are used, for example, in the automotive, medical technology and consumer goods industries. Laser welding of plastics is an established and widely used manufacturing process that is valued for its reliability, cleanliness and cost-effectiveness. As an energy-efficient tool, the laser shows its advantages in joining processes and is clearly superior to conventional methods.

"The commitment to promoting new ideas and developments is reflected not only in strategic investment in technologies, but above all in a deep-rooted passion for our products and processes," say Evosys Managing Directors Frank Brunnecker and Holger Aldebert, explaining the company's success. The special climate of innovation is based on a culture of openness, collaboration and continuous development, which enables employees to turn their creative ideas into reality.

On 27 June, all the top innovators of 2025 will come together at the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz for the awards ceremony as part of the German SME Summit. There, science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate them on their TOP 100 success.

The TOP 100 competition is based on a scientific selection process and is organised annually by compamedia, an independent agency.
