At this year's Fakuma in Friedrichshafen (Germany), the technology leader for laser welding of plastics will be showcasing new solutions such as the EvoWeld Mini with radial module and equipped with a 2 μm laser.
Evosys Laser GmbH will be exhibiting at Fakuma in Friedrichshafen, the international trade fair for plastics processing, from October 15-19. In hall A4 at stand 4306, the laser welding experts will be demonstrating what is important when welding plastics. The company will also be presenting the EvoWeld Mini table-top system with new options.
The compact EvoWeld Mini tabletop unit was developed for smaller quantities and laboratory use, but offers the same system technology as a large laser welding system. It is now also available with a radial module and can also be equipped with a 2 μm laser. Radial components in particular can be welded with this system, while microfluidic components benefit from a particularly hygienic production method.
The EvoWeld Mini offers a small footprint and easy handling. The concept is: set up, connect, weld! The EvoWeld Mini will be on show “live” with welding demonstrations at stand 4306 in hall A4. Other exhibits such as the EVO 0750 laser module and the EVO 0800-TD process module will also be on display - thanks to their compact design, they can be integrated efficiently and flexibly into almost any production and automation environment.
Laser plastic welding is suitable for production in numerous industries thanks to its high precision, localized energy input and cleanliness. Example applications can also be seen at the stand, such as devices for measuring the transmittance of plastic materials. Evosys brings together plastics technology, laser technology, optics, digitalization and mechanical engineering and is an innovation leader on the market.
