Following the investments in machinery and additional staff at the headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen/Austria and the production sites in Russia, Hungary and the Czech Republic, Gabriel-Chemie is now expanding its sites in Poland and Italy.Gabriel-Chemie has had a sales office in Pruszków, near Warsaw in Poland since 2004. The booming market for plastics in Poland, especially in the segment of the branded goods industry and here in particular the cosmetics industry, requires rapid availability of products and colour samples. In order to meet market requirements, Gabriel-Chemie has expanded its site in Poland by a laboratory and has appointed the appropriate staff. Colour matchings can now be performed on site, thus allowing the customer to participate in the development of their preferred colour and, of course, shorten the delivery times. In addition, the laboratories at the group’s other production sites are relieved, which in turn benefits the customer. New laboratory will be located in Łódź.
Following a very successful start in the Italian plastics market and two years of market cultivation carried out from the headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen, the sales team is now being expanded by professional masterbatch specialists from Italy. A sales office in Treviso has already been established, another is being planned in Milan and consideration is also being given to setting up a warehouse as early as 2010.
