Gabriel-Chemie Group, a manufacturer of masterbatch solutions, has had its flame-retardant masterbatches for stadium seats tested by the accredited French test laboratory 'Laboratoire national de métrologie et d'essais (LNE)' with regard to compliance with the French fire protection standard NF P 92-507 (February 2004). The result of these laboratory tests is the successful classification of the tested flame retardant additive according to class M2. Gabriel-Chemie masterbatches thus meet not only DIN, UNI, BS and UL flame retardance criteria, but now also the French regulations according to NF P.
This classification reflects the know-how of the Gabriel-Chemie Group, especially in the field of flame retardants, and the development of specific flame retardant solutions clearly demonstrates the company’s commitment in the stadium seat market. With this additional certification special customer requirements can be fulfilled even better.
This always has been and continues to be the reason why numerous sports facilities trust the quality of products from the Gabriel-Chemie Group and why there are seats equipped with Maxithen masterbatches in many renowned stadia around the world - and the number increases every year.
The Gabriel-Chemie Group's product range is based on two groups of branded articles: Maxithen - on the basis of polymer-specific carrier materials, and Unimax - on the basis of universal carrier formulations.
Gabriel-Chemie Group is specialised in the refinement and colouring of plastics.
The company has been in existence since 1950 and is today one of the leading masterbatch manufacturers in Europe. The independent, privately owned Group has its headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen/Austria with further production sites in Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Russia.
