VDMA released the latest up-to-date figures related to the German and international exports of plastics and rubber machinery. According to the trade body, German exports to Russia during the current period (January to September 2014) reached a value of 106.6 m EUR, which is a decrease in shipments of 40.6% compared to the same period in 2013.In 2013 the worldwide exports of plastics and rubber machines to Russia reached a value of 615.7 m EUR, a decrease in shipments of 4.7%, compared to the previous year.
Germany remains No. 1 of the most important suppliers of plastics and rubber machines to Russia with a share of 35.5% of the total export, followed by China (14.9%) and Italy (14.7%).
The latest figures has been released ahead of Interplastica trade fair, which will be held January 27 thru 30, 2015. In Moscow 128 German exhibitors will occupy 2,926 m².
