Around the globe, Hasco is this year celebrating its 100th anniversary together with customers, employees and associates.
The Austrian subsidiary based in Guntramsdorf selected a special location for its customer event to mark this exceptional occasion. Numerous guests from Austria and the neighbouring south-east European countries as well as Switzerland took up the invitation from Hasco Austria to enjoy the exceptional ambience of the Palais Ferstel in Vienna. After a ceremonious opening and a festive gala dinner in the large banqueting hall, the supporting programme with special highlights took a tour through the company’s 100-year history. A famous sand painter provided for some emotional moments with her art by depicting the company’s milestones in pictures of sand.
As part of a visual journey in time, the Hasco 100 anniversary film showed impressively the development of the company from a small handicrafts business to the pioneer of mouldmaking. Today, Hasco is represented with over 700 employees at 35 locations worldwide. Another film during the evening, in which a mould plate travels symbolically around the world, documents the company’s international involvement.
After the official part of the festive evening, this exceptional event was celebrated with music and dancing until the early hours of the morning. At the end, every guest received a personal souvenir gift - a two-language anniversary book that documents the innovations and milestones of Hasco’s history in words and pictures.
“Even during the event we received great and respectful feedback from our customers. They were very impressed with the entire programme, but especially also by the team spirit prevailing throughout the company, which was very much in evidence during the event. “We are naturally delighted about that,” said Elfriede Hell, Managing Director of Hasco Austria.
Hasco Austria was founded back in 1969, and, with its 100-man team, is one of the biggest employers in the region. From Austria, the subsidiary looks after ten countries together with the technical sales engineers on site. Many customers were guests for the first time in Guntramsdorf, and were therefore pleased to be able to take the opportunity to participate in the organised Hasco tours on the previous morning and then to be at the event itself. The guests showed a great deal of interest and enthusiasm when touring the production plants, as well as the modern plate production, the special machining centre and the innovative hot runner technical service centre.
The Hasco management team is agreed: “We will continue to live this pioneering spirit in the future. With 100 ideas in the past and 100 ideas for the future, we are always there for our customers worldwide!”
