Increasing product's speed-to-market with the help of Ampacet’s new cap mold

Increasing product's speed-to-market… Ampacet has installed an injection molding machine with a cap mold at its R&D facility in Messancy, Belgium to produce caps for product development and color matching.

The newly installed system offers Ampacet customers the distinctive possibility to evaluate colors in 3D format and to experience the touch and feel of a new product in a variety of surface finishes and gloss levels.

Ampacet has both cap and trilayer moulds available at all of its locations around the world, providing a truly global service. "The addition of the machine and cap mold is further strengthening Ampacet’s reputation and commitment to the European arena. Moreover, this allows clients to match and produce colors in the final molded article, hence reducing the speed to market for new projects. Ampacet has recognized the needs of its clients and invested," explains David Horan, Color Market Development Manager of Ampacet Europe.

Another added benefit is the detachable top of the cap which allows for easy and accurate color measurement and reading. The cap fits perfectly with the trilayer bottle technology allowing a total packaging solution to be developed.
