The largest international trade fair for plastics and rubber K 2019 finished its work in Dusseldorf the previous month. Every three years thousands of companies from the industry of plastics procession gather in Dusseldorf. Russian №1 compounder R&P Polyplastic traditionally took part in the event.
This year’s K trade fair was dominated by the topic of nonwaste production and circular economy. In recent years, the issue of contamination of the environment with plastic waste has become critical. For this reason, leading international manufacturers are paying increasing attention to development of biodegradable compounds. R&P Polyplastic presented its biodegradable materials at the trade fair.
Today the company’s portfolio includes several brands of biodegradable compounds for polymer packaging. Decomposition process starts after the compounds contact with ground or water (biodegradation) and ultraviolet light (biooxydegradation) and terminates in 6 months.
Another company’s trend presented at the trade fair is development of long-fibre polyamide based thermoplastics for mechanical engineering. They are manufactured using the modern technology of impregnation.
During the trade fair, company specialists held talks with a number of potential foreign customers. The “Export rush” program is gaining momentum. In 2019, the amounts of export deliveries will reach 1 thousand tons and 2020 this number will rise to 5 thousand tons.
R&P Polyplastic thanks all visitors of the company’s booth. In just a couple of months, another important international event will take place in Moscow – Interplastica 2020. Welcome to our booth!
