MSV 2013 headed by leaders of the sector

Number three in the number of exhibitors is taken by electronics, automation and measuring technology with companies such as Mitutoyo, Balluff, KUKA, National Instruments, ABB or Olympus Czech Group. Of course there is also Siemens, who participated in all previous years of MSV. "The traditional participation at this exhibition event whose significance goes beyond the borders of the Czech Republic is for us a welcome opportunity to meet with existing and potential customers who are interested in cutting-edge equipment in the field of machine tools. The fair itself and its accompanying events also resonate very strongly in professional as well as general media, which allow us to present the activities of Siemens and its offer for industrial production not only to the specialist, but also the broader general public," says Motion Control Sales Director Jiří Karas. The Siemens exhibition will include a presentation of software and services for Product Lifecycle Management. There will also be a featured water turbine impeller or an automatic gearbox DQ200, which is used in Škoda, VW, Seat and Audi. "Both of these components with high demands on high quality production combine precision machine tool processing with Sinumerik control system manufactured by Siemens," says Jiří Karas.

Leaders will also be present in the traditionally strong cast plastics sector, where exhibiting companies include Arburg, Engel, Wittmann, Kuboušek, Radka or Mapro.

A completely new presentation is designed for the transport and logistics industries. The T+L fair will not take place this time as it was divided into two parts. While in-house logistics remain one of the fields at MSV, logistics and transport services were allocated to the new EUROTRANS fair. Intralogistics mainly include the fields of storage, handling and internal transport which were among the most strongly represented at the Transport and Logistics Fair. The first edition of the EUROTRANS fair will be held concurrently with MSV, but only on three days, from Tuesday, 8 October to Thursday 10 October. The venue will be in hall G2, which will also host a conference programme.
