Maricell at JEC World 2025 in Paris

Maricell at JEC World 2025…

Maricell will be exhibiting at JEC World 2025, the most important international trade fair in the composites sector to be held in Paris (Nord Villepinte) from 4 to 6 March 2025. The company from Longarone, with over 40 years of experience and the only manufacturer in Italy specialised in the sector of structural expanded core materials, processed into PVC blocks and sheets, will present three new innovative products at the fair and, for the first time, will have its own branded stand (Stand 5 D 129).

JEC World is the leading international event dedicated to composite materials, bringing together the entire global composites industry every year. It is an occasion where Maricell will have the opportunity to showcase its latest important innovations, new products and innovations in the various application sectors in which it operates, including renewable energy (especially wind power), marine, transport, aerospace and sustainable mobility, where low weight is essential (e.g. electric vehicles for passenger transport).

Maricell's innovations at JEC World 2025

In addition to the classic PVC foam products that have distinguished Maricell's quality over the years, such as MYcell M, MYcell H and MYcell F, the company will also be presenting other new products to the public, including MYcell-Y, a closed cell cross-linked PVC foam with superior insulation properties for low and cryogenic temperature; MYcell-P, a high density closed cell cross-linked PVC with superior compression strength and Hydraulic Crash Point for sub-sea application; MYcell-T, a high density closed cell cross-linked PVC with superior compression and shear properties for lightweight building application, hard point reinforcements and transom boards.

MYcell-Y is characterised by its superior mechanical properties, low water and resin absorption, thermos-formability, insulation properties and workability and is also compatible with the most popular resins used in composite structures, including epoxy, polyester and vinylester.  MYcell-Y can be used as an insulation material for LNG, building or composite material for marine, aeronautical, automotive, wind energy and sport equipment sector, as well as for various industrial sectors.

MYcell-P, on the other hand, is the best choice for special subsea requirements due to its buoyancy and low water absorption under long-term. MYcell-P is an excellent product for applications requiring high compression strength and hydraulic crash point in a long term.

MYcell-T is characterised by its superior mechanical properties, workability, mildew resistance and low maintenance. MYcell-T is an excellent choice for application that require high strength to weight ratio. Due to its low water absorption and mildew resistance, it is suitable to high humidity setting.

With these 3 products, Maricell relaunches its focus on sustainability as the eco variant of MYcell ecoBlue takes carbon footprint reduction one step further by incorporating raw materials derived from agricultural and industrial waste, all produced using energy from renewable sources.

Maricell will be present in Paris at Stand 5 D 129, where it will share with stakeholders and visitors the company's new goals and objectives, showcasing its newly introduced product technologies.

After the recent acquisition of the company by the Club Deal promoted by BF & Company in partnership with investors assisted by 81 SCF Family Office, Maricell presents itself at JEC World 2025 confirming itself as a unique excellence in the composite materials sector, able to develop market innovations thanks to its Research & Development department which, in synergy with the Technical Sector, is at the basis of the Company's production processes to offer products of a higher quality level, right from the choice of raw materials, and increasingly eco-friendly.
