Mauser Group, a worldwide leading company in industrial packaging, expands its IBC bottle capability in Houston (USA).
Thanks to an additional blow moulding machine, Mauser is in the position to significantly raise its production capacity in Houston. Therewith, Mauser meets the regional demand for reliable IBC packaging solutions for hazardous and sensitive filling goods.
By adding a second blow moulding machine to the existing facility in Houston, Texas, Mauser is now able to increase output of 275 gallon IBC units and bottles. Furthermore, this allows the company to supply 330 gallon IBCs to the Southwest region in the USA, including the Mauser NCG facility in Houston.
With this investment, Mauser continues to expand its worldwide IBC production, which results in the increasing demand for both new and reconditioned IBC containers. “Our aim is to be closer to our customers. The enhancement of our IBC production in Houston ensures a faster response to our customer’s inquiries in the region,” mentions Jeff Simmonds, SBU Manager North America, Mauser Group.
In the first step, the investment enables Mauser to increase plant capacity by over 70 percent. Moreover, in the first quarter of 2012, Mauser plans to further expand capabilities in Houston by adding additional cage manufacturing resources. So the company continues to expand output capabilities of both 275 and 330 gallon IBC complete units.
