Milacron to showcase end-to-end service solutions at Fakuma 2015

Co-injection

Following the very successful launch of Klear Can at NPE, where Milacron publicly demonstrated for the first time a co-injection system for Klear Can production, Milacron will have a co-injection display at Fakuma. Klear Can is a multilayer plastic can that will replace metal food cans for the packaging of long shelf-life items such as fruits, vegetables, fish, meats, etc. This offers the clear advantage of allowing the consumer to see the quality of the food at the point of sale, the package is BPA free and can run in existing filling, seaming and retorting lines at canneries. Milacron Co-injection systems will also be displaying their White/Black/White technology for PET preforms aimed at the dairy and light sensitive beverages markets. This highly innovative technology will allow the expansion of PET into this market space, which is currently dominated by multi-layer carton technologies. Co-injection specialists will be available at the booth, to discuss the technology and answer your specific questions on your projects.

Milacron E-shop

In addition to showcasing Milacron's latest technologies and products at Fakuma, the company is also announcing the launch of an e-commerce site. The online shop will be made available to customers in Q4 of 2015 and offered in multiple languages. The mobile friendly, e-commerce site will be seamlessly integrated with the newly re-designed Milacron.com, offering a one-stop-shop for all Milacron products, including individual parts and assemblies. Customers will benefit from simple, cost-efficient ordering, offering deliveries within 24 hours.

Included in this tool is our Interactive Parts Catalogue. To further simplify the process of finding parts, Milacron introduced its digital aftermarket parts catalogue. The interactive parts catalogue is a new powerful technology, enabling purchasing managers, service technicians, and maintenance personnel access to accurate information the moment it is required. Parts information is searchable by serial or model number, part number, vendor number and description, making customer specific pricing and real time inventory only a click away.

Milacron Direct Catalogue

To extend the reach of its expanded production and warehouse facilities in Europe, Milacron is also introducing Milacron Direct, a catalogue that will serve as a one-stop shop for all Milacron products. Milacron Direct will offer the industry’s broadest product offering with the ability to complete orders easily, to check prices and availability via a new state of the art Milacron E-shop platform and telephone ordering. The Milacron Direct catalogue will offer: Ferromatik spare parts, mold cooling, DME mold components and spare parts, hand tools, sprays, cleaners, hot runner controllers, Mold-Masters spare parts and Cimcool products.
