International trade fair for the tool, pattern and mould making industry a driving force
Representatives from the tool, pattern and mould making industry will be meeting in Stuttgart from 6 to 9 May 2025 to discuss the latest developments in this sector and to strengthen competitiveness in economically challenging times.
Experience innovative technologies live in person
Securing the competitiveness of any industry is only possible with continuous change and innovation.
Volker Nonnenmann, Managing Director of Nonnenmann GmbH, emphasised the importance of Moulding Expo as a key platform for the presentation of new products and for strengthening global competitiveness: “Just like Germany’s industry, tool construction and mould making in the DACH region is currently experiencing a state of change and needs to work through outdated procurement structures. Relying on leading global expertise is not enough to remain at the top of the game internationally. Moulding Expo thus represents a key platform at this crucial time. We are delighted to be able to present our new products at the exhibition, which will be launched before the event takes place.”
The importance of continuous development is also highlighted by Hufschmied Zerspanungssysteme GmbH. This company will be presenting innovative tools and technologies during its time in Stuttgart.
Christel Hufschmied, Managing Director of Hufschmied Zerspanungssysteme GmbH, sums it up: “Continuous innovation and the development of customer-specific solutions are key to remaining competitive as a European tool manufacturer. With patented solutions, such as the Graftor milling tool, we are improving production capacity, quality and efficiency. Visitors can find out about the latest tools and developments at our trade fair stand here in Stuttgart.”
For Sodick Deutschland GmbH, the focus in Stuttgart will be on their high-precision eroding machines. Visitors will have the chance to experience this machinery live at the company’s stand space that covers 99-square metres.

Salvatore Cocco, Vice President of Sodick Deutschland GmbH, adds: “Moulding Expo is one of the most important German exhibitions for the tool, pattern and mould making industry. We have always used this event to showcase our latest developments. When it comes to choosing an eroding machine, key aspects include high precision, performance and energy efficiency, as well as low cost per hour - exactly what the Sodick + series represents. Visitors have the opportunity to view the latest machinery from Sodick at Moulding Expo.”
Werkzeugbau Winkelmühle GmbH considers Moulding Expo to be an important industry event for showcasing the expertise of the precision tool sector and modern production technology.
Tom Berthold, Managing Director of Werkzeugbau Winkelmühle GmbH, says: “Moulding Expo is one of the most important dates in our trade fair calendar. We are focused on smart manufacturing in toolmaking, the associated supplier technologies, as well as prospects for related fields of research. Back in 2023, we were able to use the trade fair to successfully establish our company not only as a tool manufacturer for industrial processes, but also a supplier of stamping, forming and plastic parts. We plan to continue this success in 2025.”
