Nexeo Plastics is pleased to announce a continued expansion of its relationship with Teknor Apex. Effective November 1, 2024, Nexeo Plastics expanded its material offerings from Teknor Apex across the EMEA region to include a wider range of advanced materials beyond thermoplastic elastomers like Monprene TPE and Sarlink TPV. This expansion strengthens Nexeo Plastics and Teknor Apex global partnership and Nexeo’s ability to provide customers highly engineered thermoplastic solutions to meet diverse industry needs, reinforcing its offering in the Electrical & Electronics, Mobility and Industrial end markets.
The portfolio now includes engineered materials based on polyamides, polypropylene, polyesters, TPU, and other specialty blends of PC, ABS, PBT, PA, and PP:
- Creamid and Chemlon Polyamides (PA6, PA66, PA6/66, Semi-aromatic, PA9T/HT): Highly specialized materials designed for metal replacement and light-weighting. Cross-linkable solutions for more demanding mechanical and thermal environments. Applications: Mobility, Industrial, E&E
- Crealen Specialty PP Compounds: Engineered materials with improved strength, impact toughness, and long-term thermal stability. UL-listed glass filled HFFR solutions available. Applications: Mobility, Industrial, E&E
- Createc Polyesters: Broad PBT portfolio including glass or mineral reinforced, flame retardant, and impact modified. PFAS-free FR solutions available. Applications: Mobility, E&E, Industrial
- Creablend Specialty Blends: Engineered blends based on PC, ABS, PBT, PA, and PP, combining multiple polymers to achieve hybrid properties not available from any single resin. Applications: Mobility, Industrial
- Desmoflex TPU Compounds: Solve unique challenges with TPU customization, including flame retardants, fiber reinforcement, UV stabilization, and more. Glass fiber reinforced TPU combines haptics and strength. Applications: Mobility, Industrial, Agriculture.
