This compact, high-speed hot melt adhesive gun is designed for use in demanding high-end gluing applications requiring small dots or beads of adhesive. The e.dot+ gun applies adhesive patterns with virtually no stringing or tailing. Nordson will also display its pneumatic adhesive dispensing gun series.
The another system which the company showed ay interpack is a new, non-contact labeling system with e.dot+ guns for roll-fed labeling applications. This innovative system maximizes production efficiency by providing better process control, lowering maintenance requirements and drastically reducing downtime. Designed to replace open wheel-pot systems, Nordson`s closed system reduces downtime by eliminating the extensive drum pad and machine cleaning required with traditional wheel-pot systems. The non-contact system also allows for better adhesive distribution across the label, which improves aesthetics and provides more consistent bonding.
ProBlue adhesive melters, simple and compact in design and constructed to maximize uptime and reduce operating costs has been also introduced at the world biggest packaging trade fair.
