Rexam Prescription have launched 100% post-consumer recycled PET resin liquid oval containers.Consumers are increasingly looking for ways to "go green" and reduce their environmental impact. To help meet this demand, Rexam Prescription Products has become the first packaging company to develop and market a liquid prescription oval made with 100 percent post-consumer recycled PET resin.
This package - available in two, three, four, six, eight, 12 and 16 oz. sizes - can be recycled again and again, further reducing resource consumption and environmental impact.
Rexam's new recycled oval meets the same government standards as its current virgin PET line, including United States Pharmacopeia (USP) requirements for light transmission and moisture permeation, the Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CSPC) child-resistant and senior-friendly protocol requirements and FDA resin standards.
