Plastics can save our future and a spiral economy can make that happen, but how? By taking advantage of materials that already exist and let the waste from one industry become a valuable raw material in another.
We are working with spiral economy as part of a joint project where used packaging could for example be recycled into a car part, to eventually become a flowerpot and ultimately end up as part of a designer chair. Our new video shows the possibilities offered by a more open mindset, unlike a closed loop where packaging can only be recycled into new packaging.
At Scanfill, recycling is never the end of the chain. It is the beginning of something new.
