Compared to the beginning of 2021, the volume of monthly deliveries of Armlen PP-9TEX material to Cable Alliance Holding increased by 2.5 times. The leading Russian compounder continues to actively explore the cable market as one of the important and promising areas for the company.
"Polymer compounds are high-tech materials having a high processing rate, which brings additional economic benefits to the cable manufacturer. Composite thermoplastics also make it possible to achieve the unique properties of finished products required by a specific customer," says Ekaterina Smirnova, Deputy Sales Director of Polyplastic Trading House, an authorized commission agent of R&P Polyplastic.
For example, material Armlen PP-9TEX, which is supplied to the Cable Alliance Holding for the oil-submersible cable insulation, was developed in accordance with the "Unified Technical requirements for the pump stations and assessment of the oil production equipment performance" of PJSC Rosneft and other oil producing companies. The material has increased resistance to temperature, copper ions and petroleum products. Being thermostabilized and frost-resistant, it withstands operating temperatures up to +125°C.
As reported earlier, by the end of 2020, more than 1000 tons of Armlen PP-6TEX material were shipped by R&P Polyplastic to JSC Sibkabel (part of Cable Alliance Holding). Armlen PP-6TEX is used by Sibkabel for the production of the first and second insulation layers of the oil-submersible cable according to the technical requirements No. 06.2020 of PJSC Surgutneftegaz.
