On the 8-9th of October 2025, Krakow will host the premiere edition of Packaging Innovations Forum, the unique event combining multiple formats such as the 17th International Packaging Trade Fair, conference, 14th Student Zone Contest, exhibitions, and anniversaries. You will be able to learn about the exhibitors' offers and take part in substantive presentations led by esteemed industry experts - all possible during just two days!
Business and Science Forum
The change from a classic trade fair to a more comprehensive forum is the response to the dynamic development of the industry and the expectations of participants. The forum will be a space for the exchange of ideas, presentation of innovative solutions, and analysis of the latest trends in the packaging industry.
The forum will have another edition of the Packaging Innovations Conference. The program will include lectures and debates with the participation of industry experts. The guests of the previous edition were: dr hab. eng. Ewelina Jamróz, prof. URK, Magdalena Pantoł (Grupa Azoty), dr hab. eng. Agnieszka Cholewa-Wójcik, prof. UEK, dr hab. Joanna Kulczycka, prof. AGH, Andrzej Płatek (DOT2DOT). Participants will be able to expand their knowledge and take part in discussions on the most pivotal topics.
17th edition of the packaging trade fair - a fixed pillar of the event
Direct contact with suppliers, the opportunity to see products live, and business talks are values that do not change. Despite the expansion of the formula, the classic trade fair remains the most important element of the event. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the stands of exhibitors from many countries and establish new business contacts.
Anniversaries and exhibitions
An important point of the event will be the celebration of anniversaries. Additionally, thematic exhibitions will be available in separate zones in the hall, the details of which will be announced by the organizers soon. In previous years, the event partners’ anniversaries were celebrated as follow: the 550th anniversary of printing in Poland, the 30th anniversary of the Polish Chamber of Packaging, and the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.

14th Student Zone Contest
Student Zone Contest which has been organized as part of Packaging Innovations for many years. It is directed to young designers who want to present their packaging design ideas, to gain experience and to establish their first contacts in the packaging and graphic industry. The participants can submit their projects in three categories: Impression, Functionality and form, Graphic design. In 2024 the competition was recognized by the World Packaging Organization that allows the winners to take part in the WorldStar Student Awards without incurring the so-called entry fee. The organizers encourage you to support the development of the competition as a sponsor by buying sponsorship packages.
There is nothing left to do but book a stand and check out what the integration in Krakow looks like!
