Moulding Expo, which will take place from 6 to 9 May 2025, will provide an extensive overview of the quality of the European tool, pattern and mould making industry, as well as of its suppliers.
More than 200 companies are expected to attend the event, among them exhibiting companies who will be showcasing their innovative solutions at one of four joint stands.
BVMF - Material, software and AI-supported manufacturing
Together with IT system suppliers, CNC machine manufacturers, material sales companies and companies that use AI intelligence for new manufacturing processes in tool, pattern and mould making, the Federal Association of Pattern and Mould Making (BVMF - Bundesverband Modell- und Formenbau e.V.) will be represented at Moulding Expo.

Bydgoszcz - Variety and precision of the cluster from Poland
Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster Tool Valley is home to a large number of companies from the tool and plastics processing industry and is considered one of the most important tool-making centres in Poland. With a total of five to six companies, the cluster will be represented at Moulding Expo with a joint stand for the first time.

Cefamol - Portugal’s expertise in mould making
There will be nine Portuguese tool-making companies presenting state-of-the-art technologies at the joint stand from Cefamol and providing valuable insights into Portugal’s strong manufacturing expertise.

VDWF - Pivotal role for technology, education and research
In addition to toolmakers, there will also be suppliers, contract manufacturers and software suppliers presenting their products at the VDWF joint stand. Furthermore, educational institutes will be providing information about courses of study, there will be several apprenticeship tours starting and finishing at the joint stand, and the VDWF will be represented as a research community.
Ralf Dürrwächter, Managing Director of the Verband Deutscher Werkzeug- und Formenbauer (VDWF), the industrial association of companies in the tool- and mould-making industry, sums it up: “More than 40 companies will be exhibiting at the VDWF joint stand. In keeping with the motto of "think local, act global", Moulding Expo presents the perfect opportunity to reach out to international customers. As a European hub, this exhibition provides visitors with a valuable platform that showcases the capability and expertise of the industry.”
