MECSPE 2025, one of the most important trade fairs for innovations in the manufacturing industry in Italy, took place in Bologna from 5 to 7 March. A total of 2100 companies from various sectors presented their latest developments in the 13 halls of the trade fair. ST.A.TE Technologies srl, the Italian representative of BOY, was also on site and presented innovative solutions in the field of injection moulding and LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber).
Francesco Valsecchi: ‘The exhibition booth was a centre of attraction for around 80 companies who wanted to experience our range and the use of BOY machines for various manufacturing processes at first hand. The high level of interest in the BOY XS E, which was demonstrated in an application for the production of a small PP (polypropylene) container, was particularly impressive.’
Another highlight was the presentation of the BOY Electric, which was specially equipped for LSR applications. LSR is a growing market and BOY, in cooperation with ST.A.TE, offers its customers not only machines but also turnkey solutions that include injection moulding machines, LSR pumps and moulds. Another partner, an Italian mould maker with over 30 years of experience in the LSR sector, completes the offer.
These comprehensive solutions offer companies that are either new to the LSR business or already have experience in processing liquid silicone the opportunity to work with ST.A.TE to find the most efficient and precise solution.
The trade fair was an excellent opportunity for ST.A.TE to meet existing customers and make new contacts, particularly from the Emilia Romagna region and from central and southern Italy. In particular, networking with existing partners and the opportunity to present customised solutions for various injection moulding applications contributed to the success of the trade fair.
