On March 13 and 14, 2024 Wittmann Technology Spain opened its new showroom in Ibi (near Alicante). The company was able to welcome 65 visitors for the official opening ceremony.
The new showroom of Wittmann Technology Spain, Wittmann Levante, was created for even more effective service than before to the market of south-eastern Spain, which accounts for about 30% of the overall Spanish thermoplastics market.
At the opening ceremony of Wittmann Levante, a servo-hydraulic SmartPrimus 180 machine and an all-electric EcoPower 110 were exhibited, together with the robot models Primus 16 and W921, and numerous auxiliary appliances.
On Wednesday, March 13, Wittmann Levante was officially opened by Salvador Gracia, Managing Director of Wittmann Technology, Spain, and the company’s Sales Manager, Yoel Vaca. Following the ceremony, a presentation was held by Ignacio Puyuelo, Product Manager for injection molding technology at Wittmann Technology Spain, to inform the visitors about the company’s innovations for increasing the energy efficiency of injection molding machines. On Thursday, José R. Lerma of Biesterfeld Ibérica took the stage. He spoke about the current challenges and problems facing the plastics injection molding industry. Demonstrations of the R8 and R9 robot control systems and the Unilog B8X machine control system completed the program.
The international Sales Managers of Wittmann Technology and Wittmann Battenfeld, Markus Wolfram und Jochen Pernsteiner, made a special point of attending this event, and they greatly appreciate this opportunity to serve the southern Spanish market more effectively. Everyone present was also very pleased about the sales of the SmartPrimus 180 on display plus a central materials handling unit and several temperature controllers during the opening event of Wittmann Levante.
