Next edition of synergistic exhibitions gearing for growth amidst Indonesia's buoyant plastics, packaging and printing sectors.
Jointly organized once again by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and local partner PT. Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI), the next editions of Indoplas, Indopack and Indoprint are set to take place from 3 to 6 September 2014 at JI Expo (Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Indonesia).
Modeled after the world's largest trade shows in the plastics, packaging and printing sectors – K, interpack and drupa, organized by Messe Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany – the Indonesian counterparts will continue on their successful streak with an even more notable display of global innovative technologies, machinery and equipment, and best-in-class solutions for the industries in Indonesia and the region. Under the printing sector, a comprehensive range of digital printing, specialty printing, offset printing, digital imaging, publishing and converting technology will feature strongly.
In 2012 the concurrently held exhibitions showcased 253 exhibiting companies – 60% where from overseas – spanning across 19 countries, as well as national groups and pavilions represented by Austria, China, Germany, Singapore and Taiwan. Together with 12,931 visitors at Indoprint and another 8,061 at Indoplas and Indopack from a total of 30 countries the 2012 edition of the Indonesian International Printing, Packaging and Plastics Exhibitions went truly global. The majority of visitors came from the plastics and rubber, mould and die, paper and pulp, electrical and electronics, packaging, households and leisure goods, and information technology sectors, with 75% of visitors directly involved in the purchasing process.
With the remarkable growth of Indonesia's printing, packaging and plastics industries, characterised by exceptionally strong consumption and foreign investment, demand for international market access into these markets is increasing steadily and the need for a platform for the industry to come together has never been more significant.
