When applied to the roof insulation with an area of ​​1000 m ² PIR TERM plates
density of about 30 kg / m ³ , l = 0.022 (W / mK) with a thickness of 10 cm, the insulation layer achieves U = 0.22 (W / m ² K) and its weight is about 3 tons. The same U-value has a layer of mineral wool panels (density about 150 kg / m ³ , l = 0.040 (W / mK)) with a thickness of about 17 cm and a weight of about 26 tons.
