Albis Plastic GmbH GmbH, global specialist for the distribution and compounding of technical thermoplasts located in Hamburg, will be presenting itself at the 29th Chinaplas 2015 in Hall 10.2, Booth L51.
"The focus this year is on our own brand of compounds in the product series Alcom and Alcom LD (Light Diffusion), which we are promoting particularly for the automotive and E+E industrial sectors. Above all the Chinaplas represents an excellent business platform for these branches", explained Philip Krahn, Managing Director of Albis Far East.
"Albis will present itself as a specialist for custom tailored solutions and specialties - in the area of compounding as well as distribution", continued Krahn.
The declared corporate target is to win and supply local Chinese OEMs as well as tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers, using local production from the Albis Plant in Changshu, China (90 km west of Shanghai) as well as providing goods and service from various regional distribution offices.
The Chinaplas therefore has a unique, strategic significance for the Hanseatic distributor and compounder. Carsten W. Wörner, Chief Sales Officer at Albis Plastic, added: "The presence at the Chinaplas, which is held alternately in Shanghai and Guangzhou every other year, is highly significant for us within the scope of our global strategy. As a global metropolis, Shanghai remains a very special location for exhibitions, while Guangzhou counters with its exceptional geographic location within the Asian-Pacific region. The affinity to the south-east Asian economic area is very attractive - for ALBIS as well. In the future, we will continue to invest personnel and resources in this region. Participation at the Chinaplas will allow us to align our efforts to specific, concrete development and growth opportunities."
The Chinaplas is considered to be the leading international plastics trade fair in the Asian region. This year organizers expect more than 3,100 exhibitors
from 40 countries, presenting their products over an exhibition area of over 240,000 sq. m. Last year more than 130,000 guests visited the exhibition.
