Arburg exhibited very successfully in Dubai from 8 to 11 January 2011. With a high-speed, thin-walled application, the high-performance Allrounder Hidrive machine was a real crowd-puller and the highlight of the Arabplast 2011."Our stand was well frequented on all four exhibition days and we made numerous high-quality contacts", said a delighted Joachim Branz, manager of the ARBURG sales and service office in the United Arab Emirates, referring to the excellent feedback received. "A particularly decisive factor here was that we were able to demonstrate live the high performance of our injection moulding machines." Appropriately for the packaging sector, which dominates the Arabian market, thin-walled lids were produced on a high-performance Allrounder 570 H with a 4+4 cavity mould, in a cycle time of 4.4 seconds. With a clamping force of 2,000 kN, this exhibit belongs to the medium-sized range of the successful HIDRIVE series, the Hybrid machines of which are characterised by high productivity, short cycle times and energy efficiency.
Representative of the entire product range, the exhibit at the Arabplast showed that the high-tech machines from Arburg fully meet the high demands of the booming Arabian market. Since the beginning of 2009, Arburg has served this market with its own sales and service office in Ras Al Khaimah.
