Dr. Michael Träger has decided to resign from his position effective December 31, 2015 to pursue new business opportunities. For the last 13 years Träger acted as a managing director of the company.Under Träger's management, Vestolit successfully integrated into Mexichem company and its strategy was refocused as part of the global Business Unit Specialty Resins.
In the meantime Carlos Manrique Rocha, President of the Vinyl Business Group of Mexichem will be performing as provisional managing director of Vestolit, assisted by the entire management team in order to ensure continuity of the operations and of successful business.
Since December 2014 Vestolit belongs to the Mexichem group. With this transaction, Mexichem will be one of the leading producers of PVC-specialties worldwide.
