Boosting low-carbon environmental development and energy conservation is not only the global development direction, but also the mission of every single enterprise.
Nowadays, plastics and rubber, as a kind of new burgeoning material, are widely used in various industries, e.g. automotive, electronics and electrical, IT & telecomunications, packaging, building and construction, medical, lighting, daily consumption, etc., and gradually applied in some high-end equipment like photovoltaics, aerospace and national defense. Undoubtedly, the technology of plastics and rubber plays an important role in the green production of the enterprises.
In order to cope with the new direction of green production and industries' future developemnt, the organizer of Chinaplas 2012 (The 26th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries) establishes "the Future is in Plastics & Rubber" as its theme, aim to drive the development of green technology and leading the industry to a "Green Future" through oranganizing a series of concurrent events.
To echo with the theme of "The Future is in Plastics & Rubber", a concurrent event named "The Future Zone" will be held during the exhibition period at the Central Square of Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The Future Zone consists of 2 parts, the first part is called "Nurturing our Future" programme of which the organizer invited East China University of Science and Technology and experts from the automotive industry to co-operate, design, produce "Future Cars" with major components made of plastics and rubber, crossing over innovations with advance green technologies to better our future living.
The winning design will be displayed at the fairground. The second part namely "Premium Design Gallery" is a platform for machine manufacturers and raw materials suppliers to invite their customers to showcase recent launched products in automotive, electronics & electrical appliances and packaging categories which are well-designed with highly-improved functionality and energy saving qualities which will enable visitors to have a completely new experience.
Apart from the future zone, following the overwhelming response of last two years' conferences and the global interest in bioplastics development, "the 4th International Seminar on Bioplastics Applications" will be held concurrently during the first two days of Chinaplas 2012 at meeting room M17 of exhibition hall E2.
Global bioplastics professionals, government officials and buyers around the world will join together and share their insights and experiences on the innovation and applied technology of bioplastics. In-depth discussion and case studies about natural bio-plastics, starch / plastic composite materials, bio-nylon, polyolefin, and other biological materials enable audience to realize the investment opportunities in global bioplastics market and acquire valuable technical advices and recommendations.
The China Plastics in Automotive 2012 conference will be held one day prior to ChinaplaS 2012, that is Apr 17, 2012, at Pudong Kerry Hotel, Shanghai. The topic will be "Material & Design Trends in Lightweight & Electric Vehicles".
