Fakuma 2012 – order for Wittmann Battenfeld

Fakuma 2012 – order for Wittmann… Geobra Brandstätter places order for 14 multi-component machines with Wittmann Battenfeld.

Fakuma 2012 was a complete success for Wittmann Battenfeld. One of the highlights of this year’s event was an order for 14 3-component machines from Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co.KG, based in Zirndorf/Germany.

Following the delivery of 30 injection molding machines with insider solutions in 2011, that is, with integrated parts removal robots, conveyor belts and peripheral equipment for upstream and downstream processing, the excellent long-term cooperation has now been extended by adding multi-component technology.

By placing the order for 14 HM 65/210H/210V/210S 3-component machines on the third day of the fair, the long-standing Wittmann Battenfeld customer Geobra Brandstätter now also relies on the company’s multi-component equipment.

“The way the exacting customer demands were met in terms of quick mold change, compact design and user-friendliness of the machines tipped the balance in favor of Wittmann Battenfeld”, says Robert Benker, Technical Managing Director at geobra Brandstätter. „The multi-component machines, which will be used to produce parts of Playmobil figures, are to be installed at geobra’s Dietenhofen facility by the end of the first quarter of 2013. Wittmann Battenfeld is very pleased about the confidence shown in its company by geobra Brandstätter GmbH&Co.KG, reconfirmed again by this latest order”, he adds.
