Krauss Maffei strenghtens its presence in Russia

Krauss Maffei strenghtens… Full speed ahead for the new international trade year: To start off, KraussMaffei will exhibit an AX130-750 CellForm machine at Interplastica in Moscow from January 28 to 31, 2014. In addition, the stock of available spare parts will be quadrupled and the expanded repair and service concept will be presented.

Low part weight and energy consumption

At Interplastica visitors will be able to see a perfect combination of injection molding and thermoforming at the KraussMaffei booth. The AX 130-750 CellForm demonstrated uses a new MuCell system to produce parts for white appliances such as washing machine covers that weigh 35 percent less than conventional ones. It is particularly easy to operate and a new metering system makes it extremely compact.

Experienced team of service technicians

In December 2013 a new service technician has been added in Nizhny Novgorod. "Currently we provide our customers with an experienced team of two spare parts managers and six service technicians assigned to different regions," says Zachar Antonovsky, Business Unit Director for Injection Molding (KraussMaffei and Netstal brand) and Reaction Process Machinery in Russia. These experts can cover any service related issues customers might have in Russia and the CIS countries. The service team will be further expanded during 2014. KraussMaffei technicians will be trained on Netstal machines and vice versa.

Stock of available spare parts to be quadrupled

The spare parts warehouse, located close to Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport for ideal logistics, will be greatly expanded: Until the end of January 2014, the number of spare parts available for the injection molding and reaction process machinery will increase fourfold.

Clever and quick solutions: remote diagnostics

In addition, the KraussMaffei Group offers a telephone service hotline for Russia and the CIS states from January 2014. Options for remote diagnostics are increasing, too. The technicians can remotely view the error log, check the input and output signals, create a diagnostics file and load or change the calibration parameters. "There is more demand in this growing market for clever and quick solutions," states Dmitry Blokhin, Service Manager Injection Molding (KraussMaffei and Netstal brand) and Reaction Process Machinery.

Restructured and expanded service program

All competences are clustered in the new 'Service & Solutions' service program of the KraussMaffei Group, which has been restructured according to current customer requirements. The service offering is divided into four phases: start-up, utilization, optimization and phase out. Thanks to this solution-oriented approach, customers can maintain their production efficiency and safeguard their investment.
