Thomas Raithel, Managing Director of K.D. Feddersen CEE GmbH, passed away on 21.06.2023, after a serious illness, at the age of 60. Mr. Raithel worked for the Feddersen Group in various functions for more than 26 years.
Thomas Raithel started on 01.11.1996 as a sales representative in the then Stuttgart-Leonberg sales office of K.D. Feddersen GmbH & Co. KG and worked in field sales for the plastics distributor after the sales office in the Baden-Württemberg region was closed. On 01.01.2011, he moved to the sister company Akro-Plastic GmbH as Key Account Manager. Mr. Raithel was then appointed Managing Director of K.D. Feddersen CEE GmbH in Vienna with effect from 01.01.2018.
"In his many years of work for the group of companies, Mr. Raithel has impressed with his high level of professional and social competence, has always been supportive of his colleagues and has been able to win valuable partners and customers for us in a convincing and trustworthy manner. With his calm and appreciative manner, he has successfully led and developed our team in Austria and Central Eastern Europe over the past five years. We will keep his achievements, his humour and his actions characterised by confidence in grateful memory and wish his family much strength and all the best for this difficult time," says Volker Scheel, Managing Director of K.D.
