Plástico Brasil, the inaugural exhibition for plastics and rubber machinery, is scheduled to take place in São Paulo from 20 to 24 March 2017. The entire plastics industry supply chain will be represented at this event, the sector's new official trade fair in Brazil.
Plástico Brasil will be hosted by ABIMAQ (The Brazilian Association for the Machinery and Equipment Industry) while BTS Informa, Brazil's second largest trade show promoter, is entrusted with the organization of and publicity for the event.
As a result of the association's recommendation-based approach, the endorsement "Supported by EUROMAP" is only given to a limited number of exhibitions in order to maintain high quality standards and avoid the indiscriminate proliferation of trade fair events. EUROMAP will support the exhibition company within the framework of its own activities by sending experts to attend committee meetings and get involved in other bodies of Plástico Brasil. It will also be responsible for planning, preparation and implementation in terms of recruiting exhibitors and attracting visitors by providing suitable advice for both EUROMAP members and non-members. The European association and ABIMAQ will also be organizing joint fringe events for Plástico Brasil.
Even though exports to Brazil have declined, this will continue to be an important market for EUROMAP countries in the long term, and it is vital for them to be represented there with a high profile exhibition.
The trade fair will take place in Brazil's largest and most modern exhibition center, the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
