Effective 11 June of this year, Mr. Lester Koh has taken on the position of Managing Director and CEO of the Wittmann Battenfeld subsidiaries in Singapore and Malaysia. He succeeds the subsidiaries’ long-standing CEO, Mr Jimmy Teo.
Lester Koh can look back on almost 20 years of experience in the plastics industry. He started his career in plastics technology as project engineer of a well-known peripheral appliances manufacturer for the entire Asia-Pacific region, from Korea down to Australia and New Zealand. After he moved to another company in 2003, he was responsible for Singapore and parts of Malaysia and Indonesia as a sales engineer for injection molding machines. From 2010 onwards, he also took care of the markets in Vietnam and the Philippines.
Apart from developing various markets, Lester Koh sees his strength primarily in the formation of dedicated sales personnel, and he is glad to be able to use his expertise to strengthen Wittmann Battenfeld in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Michael Wittmann, Managing Director and CEO of Wittmann Kunststoffgeräte GmbH, and Siegfried Köhler, Sales Director at Wittmann Battenfeld , are glad to have found in Lester Koh a competent salesperson with profound knowledge of the market as well as relevant specialist experience with both injection molding machines and peripheral equipment. Michael Wittmann comments: “We are convinced that with Lester Koh we will succeed in cultivating the market in South East Asia, which is important for us, even more effectively than in the past, and we are looking forward to working together with him.”
