Omya, a global producer of essential minerals and worldwide distributor of specialty materials, has completed the previously-announced acquisition of Distrupol, a leading channel partner in the UK, Ireland and the Nordic countries with recent expansions into continental Europe. Combined with its existing European footprint, the addition of Distrupol strengthens the company’s Pan-European presence.
Distrupol will become part of Omya Performance Polymer Distribution, a new company headquartered in Switzerland which combines Omya’s existing global polymer distribution footprint with strategic acquisitions to serve a rapidly evolving market.
