In percentage terms, the supply of materials from the leading Russian compounder increased by 58% compared to the same period in 2020. Shipments to Latvia and Romania showed the best positive dynamics – following the results of three quarters, they increased by 2.6 and 2.4 times, respectively.
"The third quarter was particularly successful in the development of export sales: we have increased the supply of materials to Europe by 110% compared to the same period of last year. We finally gained a foothold in the Polish market, where we entered this spring. In the nearest future, we plan to expand our presence in Poland and enter the Slovak market," says Pavel Kruglov, General Director of Polyplastic Trading House, authorized commissioner of R&P Polyplastic.
According to the results of 9 months in 2021, the largest amount of material was shipped to Latvia, Germany is the second in terms of supplies, and Romania is the third.
Today, the company exports polymer compounds mainly for the automotive and construction industries, the production of office furniture, power tools and consumer goods. The Export Rush project has been implemented at R&P POLYPLASTIC since 2017. One of the company strategic goals is to increase the share of shipments outside Russia in the total volume of deliveries up to 25% by 2025.
