The Wittmann Group at the…

From 8 to 11 April 2025, the Wittmann Group will present to visitors of the International Industry Fair in Celje, Slovenia, state-of-the-art injection molding technology at its booth No. 20 in hall K.

The International Industry Fair in Celje is an appropriate platform for the Wittmann Group to present jointly with Robos, its long-standing local agency, ultra-modern injection molding technology to interested trade visitors.

At this year's trade fair, the Wittmann Group will be demonstrating its expertise in the field of micro injection molding under clean room conditions. Using a MicroPower 15/10 in clean room version designed for the injection molding of small and micro parts, a micro retaining ring for medical miniature tubes will be produced from PC with an 8-cavity mold supplied by Wittner, Austria. This product has a part weight of only 2 mg.

The machine has a clamping force of 150 kN. It comes with a rotary unit, an integrated Wittmann W8VS2 robot and a camera for complete parts inspection. Following removal and camera inspection, the parts are transferred to transport containers, separated according to individual cavities.

Furthermore, a Wittmann Sonic 108 robot will be presented at the International Industry Fair in Celje. The robots of the Sonic series are high-speed robots for extremely short removal times and mold-open times of less than 1 second with a gripper weight of up to 2 kg. The Sonic 108 has been specially developed for clamping force sizes from 500 to 1,500 kN and typical machine cycle times of less than 4 seconds.

In addition, Robos will present an exemplary cross-section of Wittmann’s extensive range of auxiliary appliances.

Besides temperature controllers from the Tempro basic and Tempro plus series, one of the innumerable options for digital and continuously monitored flow measurement will also be shown at the booth with the WFC 120. The WFC 120 controls the flow quantities of each cooling circuit, shows the operator the most important data on a colored display, and can be equipped with either manual control valves or automatic proportional valves, depending on the application. With the latter, flow quantities can not only be monitored, but also automatically re-adjusted in response to changing conditions.

From the mobile Drymax primus dryer models and Feedmax S3 net stand-alone material loaders, interested trade fair visitors will get an impression, for example, of how compact beside-the-press material drying and feeding can be achieved. Both the Drymax primus and the Feedmax S3 net models use AmbiLED signal lamps to keep machine operators informed about their current operating status.
