The Gindumac Group, based in Kaiserslautern, Barcelona and Vadodara (India), has established an advisory board that will provide strategic support for its growth.
Since its start in 2016, Gindumac has become one of the most important players in the international used machinery trading. The team around Janek Andre (CEO) and Benedikt Ruf (Managing Director) would like to continue this growth path in 2021 and has founded an advisory board with well-known industry figures.
The advisory board will start with Mag. Alexander Eisler (owner and managing partner of WEILER Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH and Kunzmann Maschinenbau GmbH), Dr. Hans Ulrich Golz (former President of Injection Moulding Technology and member of the Executive Committee at KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH) and Dr. Dominik Benner (CEO and shareholder of The Platform Group GmbH & Co. KG). During the year, it is planned to expand the advisory board by at least one additional person so that competencies can be expanded.
For the two founders and directors of Gindumac, Janek Andre and Benedikt Ruf, the appointment of the advisory board is an important impulse at the start of the year: "We aim to double our sales volume this year. To achieve this, we will actively invest in growth. The advisory board is to accompany us strategically and operationally on this path. We are glad that with Mag. Alexander Eisler and Dr. Hans Ulrich Golz we have two renowned industry experts in metal and plastics technology on board right from the start."
Dr. Dominik Benner, as an expert and successful entrepreneur in the platform business, will also bring the necessary digital thinking, according to the founders.
Advisory board members Dr. Hans Ulrich Golz and Mag. Alexander Eisler see Gindumac as an exciting business model with great added value for machine owners and users.
"I know Gindumac very well from my active time at KraussMaffei and am pleased to be able to continue to accompany its development as a member of the advisory board. Gindumac's business model of making it as easy as possible for machine users to sell their machines is right on the pulse of the current dynamic market developments. An added value for machine users and owners," says Dr. Hans Ulrich Golz.
"Especially in the current corona times, we are experiencing that it is important to be able to build up and reduce machine capacity flexibly and economically. Gindumac is a suitable and exciting vehicle for this, also for OEMs who need support in the market development of the secondary market. I am pleased that as a member of the advisory board I can make a valuable contribution with my experience as a machine manufacturer," adds Alexander Eisler.
For Dr. Dominik Benner, the establishment of an advisory board is an important step for long-term and strategic corporate development: "At The Platform Group, we have had very good experiences with our advisory boards. For Gindumac, considering current growth targets, this is exactly the right time to regularly exchange ideas with experts," says Dr. Dominik Benner.
The transactional machinery platform Gindumac was acquired by the Wiesbaden-based The Platform Group at the end of 2020. With locations in Germany, Spain and India, Gindumac is a pioneer for the platform business in the used machinery trading and one of the market leaders in the metalworking and plastics processing industry in Europe.
