Flame retardant manufacturer JJI Technologies (Painesville, Ohio / USA) has signed an agreement with Hamburg-based raw materials distribution and sales specialist VELOX for the distribution of JJAZZ in Europe.JJAZZ is the trade name of a highly efficient halogen free and unique amino phosphate
flame retardant system, based on proprietary catalyst technology and designed for a variety of plastics resins such as PP, PE, TPE, TPU or TPV.
JJAZZ flame retardant is non-toxic and non-corrosive, offers excellent hydrolytic stability,
has effective char forming, low smoke characteristics and is easily compatible with UV
stabilizers.
JJAZZ flame retardant also meets stringent regulations and can even reach difficult flame
test standards such as UL94V0 and ASTM E84. In addition to the distribution of JJAZZ, VELOX will also launch JEMINI a processing aid for highly filled flame retardant compounds.
This agreement between VELOX and JJI Technologies is aimed to increase the VELOX
product range and will strengthen the presence of VELOX in the field of Flame Retardants.
